Parenting coordination is a child-focused process in which I use my experience as a mental health professional to assist high conflict parents to implement their parenting plan by: 1) facilitating their communication, 2) supporting their commitment to resolve their disputes in a timely manner, 3) educating them about their children’s needs in order to protect and sustain their safe, healthy and meaningful parent-child relationships, 4) making decisions within the scope of the court order (or appointment contract), and 5) monitoring their compliance with the details of the plan.
